Ampere Analysis Confirmed For 2019 BASE Insight Forum

The British Association for Screen Entertainment has today confirmed Ampere Analysis as the latest organisation to join the roster of speakers taking part in the 2019 BASE Insight Forum. Tickets for the half day event, organised in partnership with ERA and taking place at the British Museum from 8:30am on Wednesday, March 13th, are available here and are free of charge to BASE and ERA members.

Using the latest wave of Ampere’s consumer tracking service, Research Director, Richard Cooper, will be showing delegates how SVoD services and their differing product offerings influence their subscribers’ purchasing habits, suggesting how the screen entertainment category at large can potentially develop those relationships to their best advantage. He will be presenting UK data from Ampere’s Q1 2019 consumer survey, with the Forum being the first public presentation of the findings.

Speaking about joining the Insight Forum, Cooper said: “We’re looking forward to revealing the findings from our latest wave of UK media consumer tracking. The results from our Q1 2019 survey will be available just in time for the event and will provide the most up to date view of the UK’s media consumption habits. I’ll be showing the evolution of SVoD subscribers’ consumption habits, outside of bingeing TV shows on streaming services, and providing a view as to how the different SVoD services influence their consumers’ transactional spending. It is clear that digital and physical video still play a key role in UK consumers’ media landscape as part of an ever more diverse consumption environment.”

Ampere Analysis joins a line-up that already includes Futuresource Consulting, ICMUnlimited and Kantar Worldpanel, with further speakers to be announced in the coming days. As previously noted, the Forum also offers delegates the chance to catch-up and network with a diverse range of stakeholders from up to 75 different businesses across the category. Registration on the day commences from 8:30am and the forum will close by 1:30pm. Non-BASE or ERA members can purchase tickets by contacting [email protected] or by contacting the team below.
