Andy Neilson joins Industry Trust and BASE as PR & Social Media Executive

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]LONDON, 14 June 2017: Today the Industry Trust for IP Awareness and the British Association for Screen Entertainment (BASE) has announced the appointment of Andy Neilson as the new PR & Social Media Executive, his appointment will commence immediately.

Neilson replaces Lauren Rooney, who in May of this year, after almost three years at the Trust and BASE, moved to eOne as International Marketing Coordinator (EMEA).   Neilson will support all aspects of communications and manage key projects across the Trust, BASE, and DEG Europe.

He brings with him over six years marketing and PR experience from the record industry, having undertaken roles at Decca Records, Eagle Rock Entertainment and most recently Island Records. In his six years Neilson has worked on a diverse range of marketing and press campaigns, from The Rolling Stones, Drake & Katy Perry. All with an emphasis on innovate and forward thinking strategies.

Speaking on his appointment Neilson said: “I’m extremely excited to be starting my new role, with the hopes of truly immersing myself within the Screen Entertainment sphere. I intend on bringing my past experiences and a fresh perspective to all aspects of this position.”
