Doug Fox, VP & Director of Sales at Warner Brothers, to speak at Mesa Home Ent. Summit

BASE & DEG Europe are proud partners of the MESA Transforming Home Entertainment Summit, taking place on 13th September at No 4 Hamilton Place.

About THE Summit Europe 2017

Transformation is an ongoing process in the entertainment sector, with new products and technologies, innovative business initiatives and enhanced ‘behind the scenes’ approaches all combining to create dynamism and meet the ever changing consumer wants and needs. In this the third annual Transforming Home Entertainment Summit, the focus will once again be on providing a forum for information sharing and gaining insights into the way the industry is both managing and responding to the revolution and evolution that is unfolding in this sector. From an end consumer perspective, the transformation means a better quality and an enhanced, fully immersive entertainment experience. It also means improved choice, more engagement and greater flexibility. For the industry it’s about protecting and growing revenues, and ensuring an efficient ‘backbone’ that can deliver what is required in a fast changing and intensely competitive arena.

Doug Fox, VP & Director of Sales, Warner Bros Home Entertainment Group UK & EIRE and Chair of the DEG Europe 4K UHD working group will be representing DEG Europe at the event as part of the UHD BD Panel. Doug will be sharing the DEG working group’s experiences and knowledge of the 4K UHD market to date, their aspirations for the future and how DEG Europe plans to work cohesively with the expertise of the DEG in the US to create a joined-up approach to 4K UHD within the European market.
