ICM Unlimited Joins The Line-Up At The 2019 BASE Insight Forum

The British Association for Screen Entertainment has today confirmed the addition of ICMUnlimited, part of Walnut Unlimited, to the line-up of guests confirmed for the 2019 BASE Insight Forum. Tickets for the half day event, organised in partnership with ERA and taking place at the British Museum from 8:30am on Wednesday, March 13th, are available here and are free of charge to BASE and ERA members.

With this year’s event focused on the consumers shaping the home entertainment market, behaviours and research specialists ICMUnlimited will be represented by Research Director, Jenifer Eketone, and Research Manager, Andreea Tarasescu. They will be joining previously announced guests from Futuresource Consulting and Kantar Worldpanel to deliver a concerted focus on and assessment of the evolving behaviours they believe the screen entertainment sector needs to address.

Talking about the approach ICMUnlimited will be taking on the day, Eketone said: “We are excited to join everyone at this year’s Insight Forum. After working with both BASE and the Industry Trust for nearly a decade, we feel as if we have all gone on the same journey together. At ICM (part of Walnut Unlimited), we help brands reconnect with people by bringing greater human understanding.” She added: “With a significant number of customers changing the way they interact with content, whether purchasing, renting, subscribing or even in some cases leaving the category, it is important for the industry as a whole to consider how it can also evolve. We’ll be using some cross-sector examples to help us explore why customers move from one behaviour to another, what influences them along the way and how to adapt our offer to meet changing demands.”

BASE will be announcing further speakers in the coming weeks but, as with previous forums, this year’s event will once again also be focused on bringing together a diverse range of stakeholders from across the category, providing attendees from every corner of the industry with a valuable chance to catch up with colleagues from up to 75 different businesses across distribution, retail, supply chain and more.

Registration on the day commences from 8:30am and the forum will close by 1:30pm. Non-BASE or ERA members can purchase tickets by contacting [email protected]
