Mega Movie Week debuts in Germany in Unparalleled Cross-Industry Campaign

This week The Digital Entertainment Group International (DEGI) helped to launch Germany’s first ever MEGA MOVIE WEEK in partnership with The Federal Association for Audiovisual Media (Der Bundesverband für Audiovisuelle Medien e.V. / BVV) and The Society for the Promotion of Audiovisual Media (Die Gesellschaft zur Förderung audiovisueller Medien mbH / FAM). From 10th-16th May, 16 distributors are offering a top-class selection of current blockbuster films at unbeatable prices on EST across 11 digital platforms.

Following an insight-led strategy for digital growth, MEGA MOVE WEEK Germany sees the DEGI evolving the model and creative of the incredibly successful MEGA MOVIE WEEK UK and NORDICS campaigns of the last few years. The flexible and adaptable campaign model drives awareness, engagement and transaction by educating new consumers on the benefits of the EST format and encouraging trial and participation in the category. Thanks to financial support from the FFA, a co-ordinated marketing and PR campaign is in action to ensure that MEGA MOVIE WEEK is unmissable.

MEGA MOVIE WEEK is available to German film fans on Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, Chili, Maxdome Store, Microsoft, PlayStation, Rakuten TV, Sky Store, Videobuster, Videociety and Videoload.

And the selection of films speaks for itself: with over 200 titles including fan favourites like AFTER TRUTH to German language gems like ES IST ZU DEINEM BESTEN or GOTT, DU KANNST EIN ARSCH SEIN! to animation masterpieces like SOUL and visually stunning film experiences like 1917 and TENET.
