Today, the British Association for Screen Entertainment (BASE) announced that entries are now open for the BASE Awards 2022.
You can submit your entries from today, but the deadline to express your ‘intention to enter’ is Friday 27th May.
The deadline for final submissions is Friday 10th June.
For the first time, all the information for this year’s awards can be found in the brand new entry pack. The entry pack is a comprehensive resource with all the information you will need for entering in 2022 – including category guidelines, a grid outlining the eligibility for each category, as well ticket pricing and awards submission fees. The pack can be downloaded from the base-awards.org website.
Elsewhere, the final new award for 2022 has also been announced: the HIDDEN GEM award. This all-new category for 2022 will champion titles that captured the imagination of audiences, irrespective of their sales. Any piece of Home Entertainment content is eligible, which was released during the period 1st April 2021- 30th April 2022. The HIDDEN GEM award will be the first BASE ‘People’s Choice’ award, with votes cast directly by industry colleagues, via the base-awards.org website.
