The 2022 BASE Awards Shortlist Announced Today

With just 7 weeks to go, excitement builds for the biggest night in the UK Home Entertainment Calendar

The British Association for Screen Entertainment has today revealed the shortlist for the 42nd BASE Awards. The winners will be announced at the ceremony on Thursday 6th October, at the iconic Camden Roundhouse.

30 companies are shortlisted across 16 categories, including retail, distribution, creative, and media agencies.

A host of new awards will recognise the full spectrum of the industry, including the Independent Label of the Year for Physical Digital, the Campaign of the Year for Independent Film, sponsored by BIFA, and the new Best in Class award, to champion the creativity of the Home Entertainment Industry and its agency partners.

Physical & Digital Distributor of The Year, Independent Label of The Year – Physical & Digital, Title of the Year & the Category Hero Awards will all be announced on the night.

Liz Bales, Chief Executive of BASE said: “The 2022 Awards will, as always, champion the powerhouse of creativity, expertise and commercial success that is the UK Home Entertainment sector. It is wonderful to see such a diverse and inclusive range of organisations on the shortlist this year, new and familiar, which can only mean it will be another spectacular night for friends and colleagues to celebrate the tremendous successes of our industry.”

Tickets are now available, at £335+VAT for members and £365+VAT for non-members, with £10 from each ticket sale going to BASE’s charity partner, Action for Children. A range of sponsorship opportunities are still available, so don’t hesitate to enquire with Vicki while you book your tickets!
